Maps plugin withdrawn

The Google Maps for Wordpress plugin has been withdrawn following reports of problems registering the API key.

If any city site admin can suggest an alternative (GPL) plugin please get back to me.

    it can use either google maps or Yahoo, Microsoft, 3D globe or other providers.. will try it on one of my other WP blogs, and let you know

    bangalore - The GeoPress plugin is now available to all city sites - install it and tell me how it goes.

    sorry for wasting your time with this plugin, doesn’t seem to work..
    am trying again with yahoo maps api..
    will see how that goes

    I’ve not have had any reports from other city sites using the GeoPress plugin - have you checked out WordPress Forums?

    ok it works…as in it lets you add a map to each post… i still have to figure out how to get it to display certain locations… no worries

    Hi, have you tried the MapPress plugin? I thought it was very easy to use and it didn’t seem to have any trouble with the API key. It is limited to just Google maps, though.
